Dual Metric Technology
The Laboratoire de Précision developed a wireless, self-contained device that consolidates all testing into a single unit. Its cube-shaped design enables swift position changes during measurement. Each unit measures ten timepieces simultaneously, capturing the acoustic signature of every movement while recording temperature, position, acceleration, atmospheric pressure, and magnetic exposure. Performance and environment, measured together. A movement’s behaviour is always observed in the exact conditions affecting it.
Official measurement results are available from Day 1 through a web service or a dedicated dashboard. Custom visualisations are provided and stored for 10 years in the Laboratoire’s dedicated data centres.
This represents 5,000 acoustic measurements per day per movement and 3,000 environmental data points per day. Each time-stamped tick and tock is referenced to the International System of Units (SI).
